Our Mission & Objectives

Twenty-six objectives, drawn directly from our Memorandum of Association, organised into five areas of work.

Charter Area 1

Gau Seva — Cow Welfare

This is the founding cause of the Foundation and remains its largest area of work.

Shelter & a Dignified Life

Providing open land, food and shelter so cows can live free of hardship, with infrastructure built wherever it is needed to protect them (Objective 3).

Medical Care & Final Rest

Treatment for sick and injured cows, a final shelter for the aged, and a respectful, dignified process for their remains after death (Objectives 4 & 8).

Awareness & Research

Educating the public on gau seva and researching better nutrition and health practices for cattle (Objectives 5 & 6).

Rescue & Mobile Ambulance

Immediate rescue and treatment for cows injured in road accidents, supported by a planned mobile ambulance service (Objective 12).

Charter Area 2

Dharmik Karya — Temples & Tradition

Temple & Community Halls

Constructing, maintaining and running temples and samaj bhavans for community use (Objective 16).

Religious Observance

Organising havan-yagya, puja-path, bhandara, guidance on jyotish and puran paath, and honouring elders and spiritual figures (Objective 14).

Festivals & Culture

Hosting programmes for Republic Day (26 Jan), Independence Day (15 Aug), sporting events, fairs and cultural gatherings (Objective 15).

Spiritual Awareness

Spreading spiritual and religious awareness through satsang, pravachan and dharma prachar (Objective 18).

Education & Skill Development

Primary Education & Skilling

Work related to primary education, skill development and broader social development (Objective 21).

Livelihood & Employment

Working with government bodies to create employment opportunities and offering jobs to youth wherever the Foundation can (Objective 24).

Charter Area 4

Environment & Public Health

Tree Plantation & Water Bodies

Awareness campaigns on tree plantation and its benefits, and proper management of water in village ponds (Objective 23).

Gaushala Greening & Cleanliness

Plantation drives, a gau-sangrahalaya (cattle museum/records), grazing-land conservation and cleanliness campaigns within gaushala premises (Objective 11).

Charter Area 5

Community & Social Reform

Support for the Vulnerable

Assistance and employment support for women in need, girls, the elderly and the unemployed (Objective 17); help for the poor and destitute (Objective 14).

Social Reform

Spreading awareness to end social ills such as addiction and child marriage, and undertaking related reform work (Objective 22).

Grant & Donation Management

Building relationships with donors of cows and land, and regular contributors, while maintaining full transparency and accounts (Objective 13).

Staying Apolitical

The Foundation will keep itself away from politics in all of its work (Objective 19).
